This quaint city of about 1,500 residents supports a business population base of over 20,000, and is located in Alachua county, population 250,000.  Quality of life is excellent with close proximity to the University of Florida, three community colleges, and major hospitals.  Hawthorne is a hub of recreation, with 400 lakes in the area and multiple opportunities for hunting, fishing, and biking.
